My Favorite Muscle Cars: #ridemuscle

While I’m not the biggest classic muscle car guy, I do admire them. For me, a Hellcat or ZL1 CamaroSix or a GT500 Super Snake is more of my flavor than, the old schools are. However, names like 426 Hemi Cuda, Camaro SS 396, and Mustang GT500 definitely reside on my bucket list of dream cars. So, that’s why I’m making this post. This list consists of my favorite American Muscle rides from yesterday. Feel free to comment with your favorite classics, whether you own one or not!

Disclaimer: Some of these pictures aren’t the actual cars I’m talking about. Still, I love em tho!!

70 Plymouth 426 Hemi Cuda

The love affair started in Test Drive and Need for Speed: Carbon. My Cuda made supercars beg for mercy. Same still occurred in Forza 6 so if you want to pull up, let’s do it! Unfortunately, at a $100k price tag, it might be a while until it’s in my driveway.

67 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396

Even though my dream Muscle Car is a Mopar, I’m a Chevy boy at heart. So it’s only right that  the Camaro is on this list. I like the 396 SS because the ZL1 didn’t exist at the time, and the COPO and Z/28 isn’t necessarily my speed.

70 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass

Like the Chevelle, which will be mentioned momentarily, the 442 Cutlass is the anti-Camaro but, still GM dream muscle car. Maybe because the name 442 Cutlass sounds mean. Maybe because I like the 454 big block. Maybe…I don’t know.

69 Ford Mustang GT500

Because…Eleanor.

70 Chevrolet Chevelle 454

Because…454.

70 Chevrolet Nova

At this current moment in time, the Chevy Nova might be my best chance to get to an American muscle car. While pricing is low at the moment, when compared to others on this list, a Nova that’s built right, will tear up the asphalt like most others on this list.

75 Plymouth Duster 340

Well until I met my father-in-law, I didn’t even know what a Duster was. So it’s placement on this list is because after hearing about it and helping a couple times, it grew on me.
