SUV Vs. Jeep

Ok. This is something that kills me. Why do people refer to “SUVs” as “Jeeps”. Yes, they are correct, but no, they are also incorrect at the same time. In the event that someone is talking about a “Jeep”, and they just so happen to own a “Jeep” whether it’s a Cherokee, Commander, or Grand Cherokee then, they are right. However, if they own a Tahoe, 4Runner, Durango, and any other brand of “SUV” then, they are wrong…terribly wrong.

With that being said, I know back in the day, the common label for a high-bodied vehicle was “Jeep”, due to the fact that Jeep has mostly produced “SUVs” but, come on people, the days have changed and everybody makes an “SUV”. So in this post, I’m going to show the differences between an “SUV” and a “Jeep”.

Do we firmly grasp the concept now?
