The Tesla Model 3 has Arrived…sort of.

And I present to you…the infamous Tesla Model 3!!! [insert applause here].

Last night the mysterious Tesla Model 3 was revealed, which gave us all insight into the car that will carry the weight of Tesla in its trunk. Last night was also, part one of a two part reveal, in which part two will come closer to its production date, which is in 2017. The Model 3 prototype was shown last night and Cheif Executive Elon Musk confirmed a lot of he questions that owners, prospective owners, and enthusiasts had alike. So what do we now know about the Model 3? Well…a lot more than yesterday before 11:30 eastern time.

The Model 3 is priced at $35k which is the number we have been told for a while now and is slightly less than its main rival, the Chevy BoltThe Model 3 will be able to do 0-60mph in under six seconds which we all can agree is not too bad for a car, let alone an electric car. The Model 3 will have a range of 215 miles on a single charge and supercharging comes standard, which massacres the Nissan Leaf and BMW i3, in which offer half of the range. This is going to be the car that brings Tesla to new levels as an automaker, because let’s be real, not everyone can afford $50k vehicles let alone $100k, which makes the Model a really big deal for Tesla’s future.

They didn’t/haven’t over-promised and over-delayed…yet, because they obviously learned their lesson from the over-delayed Model XDespite the size, the Model 3 can fit five adults comfortably and there is plenty of storage space, which considering the fact that there isn’t a traditional engine under the hood, there better be some storage space. Lastly, the Model 3 comes with autopilot hardware, which is perfect due to the fact that semi-autonomous cars aren’t everywhere and in the category, it’s probably the only one.

Now seeing as the factual stuff has been written, what would we like to see from the Model 3? Leave your comments in the section below, but personally, a Ludicrous mode can’t be too far off of the horizon. This might be the car to make the M3 bow down, but that’s also a stretch to say that so early.
